Important: MakeMe Top MBP is a business listing directory only. We do not operate, manage, endorse, or take responsibility for any business, agency, resort, hotel, or service listed on this platform. Using any listed business is entirely at your own risk.

1. What MakeMe Top MBP Is

MakeMe Top Business Profile (MBP) is an online business directory for travel agencies, resorts, houseboats, hotels, tour operators, and other hospitality businesses in Jammu & Kashmir, India.

MBP is a listing and discovery platform only. We provide a way for businesses to create a public profile and for tourists to find and contact those businesses. We are not a travel agent, booking service, insurance provider, or tourism operator.

By accessing makemetop.in or using any feature of MBP, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. No Responsibility for Listed Businesses

MakeMe Top MBP takes absolutely no responsibility — legal, financial, or otherwise — for the conduct, quality, safety, honesty, or actions of any business listed on this platform.

Specifically, MBP is not responsible for:

The quality, safety, or accuracy of any service provided by a listed business
Any fraud, scam, or dishonest conduct by a listed business owner or their staff
Any accident, injury, illness, loss, theft, or death that occurs during or after using a listed business
Any financial loss suffered by a tourist or customer dealing with a listed business
Any dispute between a tourist and a listed business
Whether a listed business holds valid licenses, permits, or government registrations
Whether the information provided by a listed business is accurate or up to date
Any tour packages, bookings, transport, accommodation, or activities arranged through a listed business

You must do your own due diligence before booking or paying any business found through MBP. MBP is a directory — not a guarantee.

3. Govt Verified Badge

Some listings on MBP may display a "Govt Verified" or "Verified" badge. This badge indicates only that the business has submitted a government registration document (such as a J&K Tourism registration or similar) to MBP at the time of listing.

The Govt Verified badge does not mean MBP has independently verified the authenticity of those documents. It does not mean the business is currently licensed, operating legally, or safe to use. Verification status may be outdated. Always confirm directly with the business before booking.

MBP makes no warranty that any "verified" business is genuine, trustworthy, or compliant with applicable laws. The badge is informational only — not an endorsement.

4. No Tourist Safety Guarantee

MBP does not provide any tourist safety guarantee, travel insurance, emergency assistance, or travel advisory service.

We are not responsible for your physical safety during any tour, trek, houseboat stay, or travel activity arranged through a business found on MBP
We do not monitor, supervise, or oversee any business listed on MBP after approval
In case of any emergency, dispute, or problem, you must contact the business directly and/or appropriate local authorities
We strongly recommend tourists purchase travel insurance before visiting Kashmir

5. Listings Are User-Submitted

All listings on MBP are created and submitted by business owners themselves. MBP reviews listings before approval but does not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, or current.

Business owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing information
Prices, availability, phone numbers, and services listed may change without notice
MBP is not liable for any decisions made based on information found in a listing

6. Payment & Listing Fees

Payments for MBP listings are processed by Razorpay. MBP subscription fees are for the listing service only — not for any guarantee of bookings, enquiries, or business performance.

MBP Premium plans are subscription-based and auto-expire at the end of the paid period
Listing fees are non-refundable unless covered by our Refund Policy at makemetop.in/refund.html
MBP reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any listing that violates these Terms
Spotlight, Storage Upgrade, and other add-on purchases are one-time payments and non-refundable once used

7. Reviews

Reviews on MBP are submitted by users and are not verified by MBP. MBP is not responsible for the accuracy of any review. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.

8. Prohibited Uses

You must not use MBP to:

Create fake listings or impersonate a real business
Submit false or misleading information
Post fraudulent reviews
Collect tourist personal data without consent
Conduct any activity that violates applicable Indian law or J&K law

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MakeMe Top MBP, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

Your use of or inability to use MBP
Any transaction or interaction with a business found through MBP
Any error, omission, or inaccuracy in any listing
Any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill

In all cases, MBP's maximum liability to any user shall not exceed the amount paid by that user to MBP in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.

11. Changes to These Terms

MBP may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of MBP after changes constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when these Terms were last revised.
