Refund Policy

⚠️ Please Read Before Paying

All MBP listing fees are paid via Razorpay. Payment is processed instantly and automatically. Please read this refund policy carefully before completing your payment.

1. Overview

To publish a verified business listing on MakeMe Top Business Profile (MBP), a subscription fee is charged and processed securely by Razorpay. The listing fee covers manual verification, approval, Google indexing, and all MBP features for the duration of your chosen subscription period.

Upon successful payment, Razorpay confirms the transaction automatically via a cryptographically signed webhook. Your listing is then activated without any manual steps.

2. When Refunds Are Available

✅ Full Refund — Technical Payment Error

If Razorpay successfully charged your payment method but your listing was not activated due to a technical error on our platform, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact us within 7 days with your Razorpay Payment ID.

✅ Full Refund — Duplicate Charge

If you were charged more than once for the same subscription on the same account and listing, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full within 5–7 business days via Razorpay to your original payment method.

✅ Full Refund — Listing Not Approved Within 7 Business Days

If you submitted a valid listing and it was not reviewed and approved within 7 business days due to our fault or delay, you are entitled to a full refund of your subscription fee.

3. When Refunds Are NOT Available

❌ No Refund — Listing Rejected for Policy Violation

If your listing is rejected because it violates our Terms & Conditions — such as fake business information, prohibited content, or a listing that cannot be verified — no refund will be issued.

❌ No Refund — Change of Mind After Activation

Once your listing is approved and published, refunds will not be issued for change of mind, business closure, relocation, or choosing a different platform.

❌ No Refund — Unused Subscription Period

We do not offer partial or pro-rata refunds for unused days in your subscription period. If you choose to stop using your listing before it expires, no refund is issued for the remaining time.

❌ No Refund — After 30 Days

Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after the original Razorpay payment date will not be accepted.

4. Razorpay Refund Timelines

All approved refunds are processed through Razorpay back to your original payment method. Timelines vary by payment method:

MBP initiates refunds via Razorpay's API. Razorpay then processes the refund according to your bank or payment provider's timelines. Actual credit may take longer depending on your bank.

5. Subscription Expiry — No Automatic Charges

MBP subscriptions are not automatically renewed. There are no recurring or automatic charges after your subscription period ends. When your subscription expires:

  • Your listing is automatically hidden from the public directory
  • You receive an email reminder to renew
  • All your listing data is preserved — renewing instantly restores your listing

To continue your listing after expiry, simply complete a new Razorpay payment.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email support@makemetop.in or use the in-app live chat within 30 days of your Razorpay payment.

Provide Your Details

Include: your registered email address, the Razorpay Payment ID (from your payment confirmation email or Razorpay dashboard), your business listing name, and reason for the refund request.

Review

Our team reviews your request within 3–5 business days and notifies you of the outcome by email.

Refund Issued via Razorpay

Approved refunds are initiated through Razorpay and credited to your original payment method within the timelines listed above.

7. Razorpay Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly and cannot resolve the matter with us, you may raise a dispute with Razorpay through your bank's chargeback process. However, we encourage you to contact us first at support@makemetop.in — most issues are resolved quickly and directly.
